Don started in EMS in 1984 and has worked on an Ambulance, in ER and now in the fire service every since. Don has been a CPR Instructor since 1987 and has taught thousands of classes in those years, from CPR/ First Aid to EMT along with Wilderness first aid and workplace Emergency Response Teams.

In 2002 CPR Institute became a team effort and main focus for building the business that has now become a nation wide educational facility.

After years of EMS and fire service, Don decided to go back to school. Adding to his extensive list he is now still in the fire service, but has also attained Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathy, Board Certified Complimentary Alternative Health Practitioner, Certified Functional Naturopath, Certified in Integrative Naturopathic Oncology, Clinical Master Herbalist, Doctor of Pastoral Sciences as well as a father of three.
